About Lora
Lora Cecca Lyons, MA, CSC

Lora Cecca Lyons is the founder of Lyons Leadership Coaching, a
founder and member of Global Sufficiency Network, and co-author of
the forthcoming book, "The Power of Sufficiency." She works with
people who are deeply committed to self discovery and growth,
exploring and rediscovering their innate Sufficiency (enoughness)
and stepping inside of their greatest selves inside all areas of their
lives - as parents, professionals and citizens.
Lora is a personal and professional leadership coach specializing in
Somatics, a linguistic and body-oriented methodology that helps you
determine how you want to build your future and what
competencies are needed in order to get you there. She coaches
one-on-one with individuals in person and on the phone, works with
groups and facilitates workshops and programs. Her work is drawn
from a variety of discourses, including Communications
Management, Sufficiency, Martial Arts, and Ontological and Somatic
Coaching. This blend informs how she partners with people allowing
them to become astute self observers and replace old patterned
behavior with new ways of speaking and acting that align with their
vision and most authentic and greatest self.
Lora holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a master’s degree
in Communications Management, in which she presented her thesis,
“Saying What You Mean: The path to leadership through language
and emotional intelligence” and is certified as a somatic coach by
Strozzi Institute, the premier training institute for Embodied
Leadership. She has also received three years of rigorous training
and mentoring from Jennifer Cohen, master somatic coach and co-
founder of Seven Stones Leadership. The last three years of
immersing herself in the study and practice of Sufficiency has
enriched her professional offer and culminated in her current work
of co-authoring a book on Sufficiency. Since 2006, she continues
her involvement in the Sufficiency community and served as a co-
leader for an ongoing weekly Sufficiency conference call.
Lora’s greatest inspiration for her work and vision are sourced by
the love of her husband, son and daughter.
